Academic Growth
- It's our pursuit to create intentional spaces for the development of each of our student's intellect and talents with an awareness, curiosity and on-going wonder of the whole of God's creation, His Word and their opportunity to be a part of our great world and the people that He has designed!
- We design our program to introduce academic awareness and growth in understanding and proficiency in accordance to Early Childhood Education academic standards. We want them to have the foundational skills for both success in Kindergarten and into their future education.
Social Growth
- It's our pursuit that each child grow in their awareness of those around them and to treat others with a mutual, loving respect founded in the love of God.
- We encourage our children to become increasingly unselfish, yet able to advocate for themselves. We want them to grow honest hearts and live with cooperative spirits in relating to those around them.
- We design our program to help our students develop a realistic & positive understanding of themselves and others.
- We incorporate the development of skills for clear & positive communication with the purposes of enhancing their ability to function creatively, curiously and competently as a positive member of their community.
Emotional Growth
- It's our pursuit that each child develop a positive self-image as a loved member of the family, community, and part of God's plan.
- Our staff strives to exemplify as well as encourage in our students, wholeness, responsibility, independence, initiative, adaptability, confidence and cooperation in the classroom.
- Because of our long history, we have the benefit of seeing each generation of students step into successive areas of their lives. We have parents who were once students at The Ark now returning with their own preschoolers as part of our program! What a tremendous joy and gift to be a part of the generations of families!
Physical Growth
- It's our pursuit that your child learn to appreciate, nurture, develop, and discipline his/her body as the beautiful creation that God has made them to be and that they develop confidence in their physical capabilities.
- We design our program to provide both indoor, outdoor play and exercise as a part of your child's learning experience.
